Marli Rabe
Why I got into the Exercise Physiology Industry? From a young age, I have always been drawn to exercise and sport. I loved trying as many as I could, participating in Judo, Basketball, AFL, Archery and more. What stood out to me most wasn’t just the competition, but the sense of camaraderie and community that surrounded movement. This passion naturally led me toward a career in Exercise Physiology, where I developed a deeper appreciation for the power of movement as medicine. I discovered that exercise is not just about performance, it’s about helping people return to the activities they love and improving their overall quality of life. Having navigated my own health challenges, I also developed a strong belief in a biopsychosocial approach to care. I understand that health is more than just physical symptoms, it’s about mindset, environment, and meaningful goals. This perspective continues to shape the way I support my clients. Why I love what I do? I love what I do because of how rewarding it is to see people achieve their goals and recognise the progress that comes from their hard work. Watching that growth, both physically and mentally, is incredibly fulfilling. Especially seeing how it carries over into everyday life. I also value the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life. Being able to use movement as a way to build relationships, support others, and create a positive environment makes every day meaningful. Areas of interest • Women’s Health • Youth Movement & Skill Development • Exercise Physiology for Individuals with Disability Injury Rehabilitation
